Because we have such power with AI, why not use it for fun?
Phil Dunphy is an iconic character on the popular TV-show Modern Family, and on the fourth season, he introduced us to a book called Phil’sosophy. These were advices for Haley (her daughter) for various aspects of life, and personally I found these extremly funny, and somewhat helpful, and I always wanted to read more of these, so I thought, that I would harvest the power of AI (more specifically ChatGPT) to create more of these life hacks & lessons. Obviously, it could never be the same, but some of them came out very funny, and I am fairly pleased with the results.
For context, here are the original quotes, that were actually on the show:
“Always look people in the eyes. Even if they’re blind. Just say, ‘I am looking you in the eyes.’”
“If you get pulled over for speeding, tell the policeman your spouse has diarrhea.”
“You only get one chance at a first impression. I suggest Julia Child, because it’s easy to do. ‘Save the giblets!’”
“The most amazing things that can happen to a human being will happen to you, if you just lower your expectations.”
“Dance until your feet hurt. Sing until your lungs hurt. Act until your William Hurt.”
“Take a lesson from parakeets. If you’re ever feeling lonely, just eat in front of a mirror.”

“If you’re ever in a jam, a crayon scrunched up under your nose makes a good pretend mustache.”
“When life gives you lemonade, make lemons. Life will be all like, ‘What?!’”
And here are the ones, that the AI model generated:
